Final Fantasy is having a big year, and it’ll continue into early next year.
During the Summer Games Fest event, Square Enix revealed a new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth along with a release window of “Early 2024.”
The trailer features several FF staples including Midgar and the appearance of Red XIII. The trailer also talks about where Cloud has been for the past 5 years leading to the events of the game.
The game is a follow up to the cliffhanger ending of FF7 Remake which released a few years ago. Rebirth was first officially announced during a Final Fantasy event last year with a “Winter” release window, but that is not slightly moved to early next year. No official release date is known yet.
