The opening night for Gamescom 2023 revealed a new trailer for Alan Wake II and it shows there’s a lot in store for the titular protagonist, and that’s a terrifying prospect. Alan Wake II is being released on October 27, 2023 for Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC, and this trailer gives us just a taste of how nightmarish this game is going to be by showing off some of the gameplay.

Alan Wake II is the hotly anticipated sequel to the 2010 game Alan Wake. But while the original game was more of a thriller, Alan Wake II seems to be firmly planted in survival horror.
