Nippon Ichi Software to Release Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles on PS5 this Summer

As part of its 30th anniversary celebrations, Nippon Ichi Software (NIS) is releasing Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles for the PS5 this summer.

As Nippon Ichi Software celebrates an important anniversary, they’re celebrating by releasing a number of game announcements. One such announcement should perk up the ears of Japanese gaming fans, as NIS has announced that they’re releasing Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles for PS5 this summer. The game is a combination of two previous releases: Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess and Rhapsody III: Memories of Marl Kingdom, which have never been released in the West before.

The games can be summarized as follows:

Following in the footsteps of her mother Cornet, young Kururu sets out on a journey to find a prince of her own in Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess.

In Rhapsody III: Memories of Marl Kingdom, a series of charming chapters concludes the stories of Rhapsody and its characters. Experience events that occur before, during, and after the previous titles, including an emotional and heartfelt conclusion about Cornet’s mother, Cherie.

There currently isn’t an exact release date for Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles, but the game is expected to release sometime in Summer 2023.
