The No Man’s Sky developers are celebrating the game’s 5th anniversary with a look back at the game and what’s coming next.
Crazy to think it’s been five years since the initial (and tumultuous) launch of No Man’s Sky. The ambitious game was highly anticipated, but was plagued by issues. Issues that were largely fixed via a massive free update. What has followed over there years are a slew of big updates (free by the way) that have drastically changed the game and kept it alive all these years later.
It’s very much a story of redemption for the title, and No Man’s Sky serves as an excellent example of how things can be turned around. Even after five years, they aren’t done:
While we don’t get any real information on No Man’s Sky: Frontiers, the look back at the 16 updates they’ve given over the years has me itching to dive back into the game. It’s cool to see how much it’s progressed, and I’m eager to see more about Frontiers.
