Siege Paris in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Later this Summer

Ubisoft showed off the next year’s worth of content for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla during the Ubisoft Forward at E3 2021.

The next DLC takes place during the Siege of Paris in Francia. Players will have new quests to complete around the French countryside on the journey towards one of the most infamous conquest battles in Viking history.

The Siege of Paris DLC will also include the return of Black Box Infiltration missions. The DLC is included in the season pass or separately for $29.99.

Developers said there will be a variety of updates and events that will be free to enjoy throughout the year, starting with the addition of the one-handed sword and the Basim Outfit which is already available through Ubisoft Connect.

In the Fall, all game owners will have access to Discovery Tour: Viking Age for free.

“Following Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt and Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece’s line, the brand-new chapter of the Assassin’s Creed educational expansion will shed a light on the Viking era and allow players to discover more about the history and traditions of the time,” developers said. “Designed with historians and archeologists, this non-violent interactive learning experience will let players embody different characters of the time and take part in their big and small adventures set in ninth-century Norway and England.”

Discovery Tour: Viking Age will be available standalone for $19.99.

The content showcase ended with the image of a strange portal and developers closed out the event press release saying that “Eivor’s journey is not over, but players will have to be on the look out to discover where it leads.”
