State of Play Announced for July 8th, DeathLoop Extended to be Showcased

Playstation has been relatively quiet in the recent weeks since E3 2021. Though we know some big news on games like Horizon Forbidden West, God of War, and more will be coming later this summer, I have been pretty surprised we have not been shown more State of Play events in the last few months.

We do have good news though, today, Playstation announced it will hosting a new State of Play on July 8th (this Thursday) and it will feature upcoming third-party games, indie titles, and nine minutes of extended gameplay from Bethesda and Arkane Studios Deathloop.

This will give us a better look at some of the exciting gameplay coming to this game and I’m very excited to see more on this beautiful mind-bending world. Deathloop is a one-year timed exclusive for Playstation 5 and PC, so there might be a possibility of the game coming to Xbox in the future, but at this time there are no details.

The live stream will start at 2 pm Pacific / 5 pm Eastern / 11 pm CEST, on Twitch or YouTube.

Deathloop is set to release September 14 for PC and PS5.
