The Outer Worlds Comes to Current-Gen Consoles Next Week

A new edition of the Sci-Fi RPG, The Outer Worlds, is launching next week to bring the game (and all its DLC) to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Your excuse for not playing The Outer Worlds are drying up. Or, if you’ve just wanted to replay the game on your swanky newer-gen consoles, you’re in luck. Today, Obsidian Entertainment has announced The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is coming on March 7th! It brings the previously released DLC together along with the core game and upgrading it all for the current-generation consoles:

The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is the ultimate way for new and returning fans alike to experience the beloved RPG. Higher resolution graphics, a dynamic weather system, overhauled lighting and environments, improved performance and load times, enhanced details on characters, an increased level cap, and much more await spacers who bravely and boldly carve their path through the conspiratorial Halcyon colony.

The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition includes The Outer Worlds base game and both DLCs, Murder on Eridanos and Peril on Gorgon for $59.99 MSRP. Players who already own The Outer Worlds and its associated DLCs for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, or PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, or Windows Store) can upgrade to the The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition for the latest generation of console or, if applicable, from that same PC store at a reduced price of $9.99 MSRP.

The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition arrives next week, March 7, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PCs.
