Sports are back on Nintendo consoles under a slightly new name: Nintendo Switch Sports.

With a new name comes some new additions.

The game will launch with six sports: Soccer, Volleyball, Bowling, Tennis, Badminton and Chambara (swordplay!). Players will also have the option to play the Soccer Shoot-Out using the Joy-Con leg-strap. The leg-strap is included in the physical version of the game.

Nintendo announced that later in the Fall, Nintendo Switch Sports will get an update to add the game’s seventh sport: Golf!

Nintendo Switch Sports is launching on April 29 and Nintendo will offer a play test for Nintendo Switch Online players from February 18 to 20.
