Hasbro is keeping the spooky times rolling with a new wave of Halloween themed Star Wars Black Series action figures! Take a look at the upcoming releases.
I know not everyone is as enamored with the various Star Wars holiday themed figures…but I love them. Something about those goofy ass toys just bring me a lot of joy. I love when they get silly with the license. As such, I’m thrilled that Hasbro announced another wave of Halloween Black Series toys coming out later this year!
Today, they revealed three new Halloween figures are joining the line: Mon Calamari, Togruta, and Tusken Raider. As in previous years, they aren’t directly connected to any particular horror property (at least by name), but they very obviously take their influence from classic horror monsters. Past years have given us Wolf Man, Dracula, the Mummy, and Frankenstein among others. This time around we’re getting Creature from the Black Lagoon with the Mon Calamari, Bride of Frankenstein (Togruta), and even the Invisible Man.
One of the things I love most about these figures—aside from the fun color schemes—are the extras that come with them. There’s a green porg, ghostly BD-series droid, and even a spooky Skoova Steve (from Jedi Survivor)! It’s just neat, plus there are the other little weapon/tablet accessories we don’t get with regular figures.
Even better, these don’t seem to be set as various retail exclusives! That means we won’t have to hit up multiple stores in order to get the full wave. They’ll be available starting this September directly from HasbroPulse and other participating retailers.
