Unboxing Gentle Giant’s Star Wars Darth Revan & Cal Kestis Dioramas

We take a look at the latest addition to Gentle Giant/Diamond Select Toys’ Star Wars Gaming Greats Dioramas: Cal Kestis and the iconic Darth Revan.

Announced last year (following the awesome debut of the Bastila Shan diorama), two new pieces in Gentle Giant LTD’s Star Wars gaming dioramas have launched at GameStop just this past month. These new arrivals bring to life Cal Kestis from the Star Wars Jedi games as well as Darth Revan from Knights of the Old Republic in a way only Gentle Giant can.

Thankfully, the collectible company was kind enough to send both of these my way so I could share my thoughts on them with you all:

Suffice it to say, these are damn impressive. The dynamic poses and details combined with the $80 price point (far cheaper than their other high-end statues) make these an easy choice for fans/collectors. I mean, they just look all kinds of impressive, especially together. As I mentioned, they kind of remind me of Hasbro’s Star Wars Unleashed line of figures (from the early 00s), just way better quality.

All in all, these have blown me away and the only problem I’m having is figuring out where I’m going to display them. They look impressive and can serve as eye-catching pieces in just about any collection. I hope Gentle Giant continues to pump these out and pull from Star Wars’ rich backcatalog of gaming characters.

Both Cal and Revan dioramas are available now exclusively to GameStop (in stores and online) with the Darth Nihilus slated to arrive next month. You can learn more about them, or place your orders, here at these links: Cal Kestis, Darth Nihilus, Darth Revan.
