The Casual Cinecast checks out Triple Frontier

Before we movie into the main review for Triple Frontier, the hosts like to go over what they’ve been up to, in a section called “What’s On Our Mind”. Netflix finally released the final eight episodes of Arrested Development’s fifth season on March 15th. Mike decided to check those out right away, and has some opinions on the show’s (likely) conclusion. He also discusses the finale of Star Wars Resistance season 1, and whether or not it’s worth checking out.

Unlike his lazy co-hosts, Chris actually went to the theater this week to watch Captive State, and has some thoughts to share. Is it worth going to the theater to see? No one knows… except Chris because he did. Listen to the episode below to find out! He also talks about binging the Adult Swim/Youtube show On Cinema At the Cinema. Meanwhile Justin unwinds a bit, and opens up about his own cake-related struggles with The Great British Baking Show.

Finally, we review the newest film by director J.C. Chandor, Triple Frontier, starring Ben Affleck, Oscar Issac, Charlie Hunnam, and more. As always, the review starts off with a spoiler free section, before moving into spoilers. Listen below and let us know your thoughts.

Agree or disagree with any of the takes or opinions? Let us know in the comments below or let Mike, Chris and Justin know at @casualcinecast on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram!
