Dark Horse Books to Release ‘Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins Omnibus—Series I and II’ Spring 2026

A paperback collection of Series I and II of Critical Role: Vox Machina Origins is on the way.

Dark Horse Books and Critical Role present theCritical Role: Vox Machina Origins Omnibus—Series I and II, a new paperback collection that will be available on April 7, 2026.

If this collection looks familiar, that’s because it’s essentially the same content that was featured in the hardcover library edition released in 2020. The primary difference is this is the paperback version.

This edition collects Volume I written by Matthew Mercer and Matthew Colville, illustrated by Olivia Samson, colored and lettered by Chris Northrop (Black Box Chronicles) and Volume II written by Matthew Mercer and Jody Houser (Orphan BlackStranger Things), illustrated by Olivia Samson, colored by MSASSYK (Batman: The Brave and the Bold), and lettered by and lettered by Ariana Maher (Demon Days: X-Men). The paperback compendium will feature cover art by Hunter Bonyun.
