After decades of talking about this project, and the failure of the TV pilot last year, Paramount has roped in Eddie Murphy to finally return to the big screen in March of 2016, as maverick detective Axel Foley, for a fourth Beverly Hills Cop adventure, directed by Brett Ratner.

Like Kevin Costner, Mel Gibson, and Robin Williams, the 2000's were not kind to the film career of Eddie Murphy.
