Filmmakers often plan ahead, and many of the movies which come out each year are designed to be part of a multi-film series. However, it doesn’t always work out that way. Sometimes, the first sequel bombs and the third movie never gets made. Here are 6 short movie franchises that remained unfinished.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise his first major starring role as Conan the Barbarian in The Legend of Conan. Schwarzenegger returns as the eponymous king, struggling to retain his throne in the final years of his reign. On top of this the film is finally moving forward as a writer has just been hired for the script.
Meanwhile, The Help and Rise of the Planet of the Apes continue to rake in the dough.
TMP takes a look at Conan the Barbarian, a remake that isn’t so much a remake as it is a re-imagining of a well known cult classic. It’s a film that basically gives you what you expect which is mainly sex, swords and sorcery. It also delivers a new Conan, different in many ways from the old Conan, a new spin on a familiar story, and the opportunity for sequels in the future.
Character posters seem to be the big thing right now in marketing. So instead of getting one really badass poster for a film...we get a whole bunch of mediocre ones. This week is no different as several new posters have come out, so we've lumped them all together.
