The problems I have with how the Academy votes on several categories could fill a book. I mean, just last week they weren’t even going to show several categories because they didn’t deem them “important.”  Nothing bugs me more, however, than their animation category. We could argue about best picture all day, but at least we can agree that a majority of the nominees deserve to be there (and potentially win) along with an endless list of movies that were overlooked. Yet, we can’t do that with animation.

The Academy Awards may be the most prestigious movie awards out there, but that doesn’t mean they always make the best decisions. Join us as we look at the potential nominees for this year's ceremony we feel were left out and which ones don’t belong.
