SDCC is in full swing and as some convention goers have noticed at the WB booth (where they have lots of Batman things in celebration of his 75th anniversary), a new image of Ben Affleck as Batman is floating around. Now DC has officially released the new image and it's pretty swanky. Come inside to check it out.
There was a lot of Microsoft news going on lately, but a lot of their projects survived. One of those projects was Halo: Nightfall, a live action VOD style series that is planned to hit Xbox Live. The series is looking so good that Microsoft is even in talks to possibly bring the series to a paid cable network soon! If you've been anxiously awaiting this series, then you're in luck as the first teaser trailer for the show has landed at SDCC.
Not every cool thing to come from SDCC is related to movies or comics. The show is also host to a bunch of really sweet collectibles and toy reveals, and let's face it, when fans are passionate about something, they typically want to show it off. One of the cool new action figures was revealed from Square Enix (and their Play Arts-Kai line of figures) in the form the Batman, reimagined by Final Fantasy artists. Marvel Studios is jumping head first into the SDCC swag with collectable concept art posters for Avengers: Age of Ultron. While they only show concept art, they're still the first official movie posters we've seen for Marvel's upcoming superhero team-up.
