Agents of SHIELD returns this week! Before it premiers on Friday night, check out the first 17 minutes of Episode 1 of Season 5.
Marvel Studios is planning to use the short film Agent Carter—which is being released as part of the Iron Man 3 Blu Ray—as a pilot for its own television show, featuring the daring deeds of Peggy Carter during the post-war world in which S.H.I.E.L.D. is just beginning to form.
Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, who once played Nick Fury in a made-for-TV film, says that Samuel L. Jackson was just “not Nick Fury”. Hasselhoff feels he should have been cast in the Marvel cinematic films and would like to play Fury again.
It’s not a big surprise but it’s finally official that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be a weekly network series on ABC starting this fall.
Production has wrapped on Joss Whedon’s TV pilot chronicling the adventures of Marvel’s team of high-tech super-spies known as S.H.I.E.L.D., and now we wait to see if ABC will give it a thumbs up. In the meantime, here are some updates about the project.
Filming has officially wrapped on Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D. pilot. It is now being rushed through the post-production phase so it can be screened by ABC. If the execs at ABC give the pilot a thumbs up, it will air this fall as the first episode of a weekly series.
One of the most talked about upcoming TV series is Marvel's S.H.I.E.L.D., which will tie in to their cinematic universe, as well as bring back fan-favorite, Agent Coulson. We heard about it and got excited over the Summer, and now filming for the pilot episode is currently underway...with some maddeningly vague pictures to boot.
