Another villain is getting their own film.  This time, Warner Bros. and DC plan on giving Deathstroke (a.k.a. Slade Wilson) the solo treatment.  They've already got a star.  Now, they're working on getting an ambitious director.

Considering the veil of secrecy surrounding Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it's actually not that surprising to hear more casting info so far after it wrapped.  A report has come in now stating that three of the actors from The Raid franchise will be making an appearance in the film.  Come inside to check out the scoop and our thoughts!

Gareth Evans crafted one of the best martial arts/action movies around in the surprise hit, The Raid.  It's sequel has promised to be even better (and by accounts at film festivals) it is.  Yet, for as popular as it's become, it's still a foreign film, which means the US has been talking about doing a remake of it for a while now.  Looks like it's finally happening as Screen Gems has hired The Expendables 3 director to tackle the project.  

With Jackie Chan and Jet Li winding down their action-star careers, audiences are looking for the next big martial-arts star. While both of those big screen legends had to come to Hollywood in order reach that level of stardom, The Raid: Redeption  may be proof that in today's more global consumer marketplace that path may no longer be necessary. 

The film is about a group of young policemen who raid a building run by a mob boss. The boss sits on the top floor for the apartment complex and the cops are at the bottom, making their way up floor by floor. On the 5^th floor, however, the mob boss is alerted and begins to watch the police making their way up via surveillance cameras.
