Rumors about the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise (toys, etc) have swirled around one date for a while now, and now Disney/Lucasfilm has made it official, announcing Midnight Madness events and even offering us a glimpse of the new toy packaging!  Come inside to learn more.  

The Diorama Workshop was once again on hand at this year's Star Wars Celebration, this time letting collectors and fans help build their own version of Cloud City from The Empire Strikes Back.  Now you can check out their work in a new timelapse video.

New York Toy Fair has wrapped up and, as it does nearly every year, has left our wallets and bank accounts trembling in fear of the year ahead.  The sheer amount of amazing things that were shown off still has our heads spinning, but I’ve picked out five items I can’t wait to actually get my hands on.

The Force Awakens is landing in theaters net year, and of course, this mean new toys will be hitting as well. Today some leaked prototypes of the figures have hit the net, giving us our best look at the new villain so far!

S.H. Figuarts has produced some pretty incredible pop culture figures in the past, but this time they really knocked it our of the park with a Michael Jackson figure from Moonwalker. Come inside to see our video review of the figure and why it's worth picking up. 

In this week's Toy Review Tuesday, we got our hands on Figma's brand new Kill La Kill figure, Matoi Ryuko.  While it may be our first time to get hands on a Figma produced figure, we certainly weren't disappointed.  Come inside to see why this new figure is well worth your money to pick up!

Not every cool thing to come from SDCC is related to movies or comics.  The show is also host to a bunch of really sweet collectibles and toy reveals, and let's face it, when fans are passionate about something, they typically want to show it off.  One of the cool new action figures was revealed from Square Enix (and their Play Arts-Kai line of figures) in the form the Batman, reimagined by Final Fantasy artists.  Come inside to check it out and learn more about this amazing creation.  

Sorry for no reviews last week but I'm doing some cosplay crafting. The good news is I finally found a Black Widow form the Cap 2 line and a Whirl from the Transformers Generations line. Later this week I'll have a look at the new Star Wars The Black Series Obi-Wan and Luke Skywalker in Bespin gear and the completed build a figure of the S.H.E.I.L.D. Mandroid.
