February is packed full of horror releases

February features a substantial number of horror game releases, mostly led by indie developers. The lineup includes a range of titles, from psychological slow burns to surreal and experimental horror. All of these are leading to the highly anticipated AAA title set to release at the end of the month.

Here are some of the horror games coming to you this month:

UMIGARI| ウミガリ
Release Date: February 4, 2026

Developer: Chilla’s Art

A fishing game meant for light horror enjoyment. Chilla’s Art has said that the horror intensity for their new game is “Very Light”. The game focuses on the fishing mechanics as the fish you catch become strange and unsettling.

Heaven Does Not Respond
Release date: February 6, 2026

Developer: Rise Studios

This psychological, analog horror game is set in an alternate timeline in the year 2005. You play as an intelligence agent who explores the mysterious circumstances around a young man’s death through a retro-style computer.

Crisol: Theater of Idols
Release date: February 10, 2026
Platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam (PC)
Developer: Vermila Studios

Published by Blumhouse Games, this is a survival horror game where you play as a soldier who has been captured. Set in a twisted version of Spain, you must use your own blood as ammo to escape without dying from your own loss of blood. All of these horrors await for you on the island of Tormentosa.
