During the XBOX Games Showcase that aired today, a new indie game took the stage with its reveal trailer. Inspired by anime classics, Vivarium is a cozy life-sim adventure set in a town within a terrarium.
You play as an 11-year-old girl named Jenny as she uncovers the secrets of her terrarium home. Her small town is inhabited by an animated cast of characters, including a funny postal worker who drinks like a fish, because he is a fish, a wandering fortune teller who seems to know too much, and a reclusive woman slowly turning into something else. How the story unravels is up to you, as it is a non-linear adventure that progresses based on your decisions.
Vivarium is available to wishlist today and is set to launch on XBOX Series X|S and XBOX on PC. It will also be a day one title for XBOX Game Pass, with full support for XBOX Cloud and XBOX Play Anywhere.
