Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes Scheduled for PC Release on May 11

Publisher Dotemu has just revealed that Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes is coming to PC on May 11, 2026. Bringing the classic sci-fi series back to the gaming stage with its tactical roughlite style focused on survival, managing your fleet, and tough decisions.

The franchise began as a sci-fi TV show about humanity’s last survivors escaping the robotic Cyclons, which debuted in 1978. This was the beginning of the path that would eventually lead to the 2003 console game, the 2017 pc game, and now Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes 2026 PC release.

Developed by Alt Shift, the team behind Crying Suns, the game will put you in charge of the survival of a fleet after the fall of the Twelve Colonies. As you are hunted by the Cyclons, you will need to handle repairs, gather resources, rescue survivors, and defend yourself from oncoming attackers.

This release marks a huge return for the franchise, and both longtime fans and potential new fans are excited to see what this new installment brings. Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes is scheduled for release on PC via Steam and GOG on May 11, 2026. You can check out the trailer below.
