The 4th mainline game in the series gets a first look with a new announcement trailer. Check it out.
The 4th game in the series, Metro 2039, is coming from 4A Games and Deep Silver. They took to the PlayStation Blog to announce the first trailer. Check it out:
Set six years after the original game and written in collaboration with Metro author Dmitry Glukhovsky, this new entry builds on our vast experience creating handcrafted, story-driven single-player campaigns with a claustrophobic atmosphere of tense, psychological horror.
The game will go back to Moscow to navigate a tyranny taking over the tunnels, with misinformation and dangers lurking in all the corners. The game will again utilize the studios own engine that is adapted for the franchise, further enhancing features like dynamic lighting and animations. The game also features a new voice protagonist named The Stranger.
