Fans of the Monster Hunter series have every reason to be thrilled following today’s Capcom Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase.
The excitement kicked off with Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto unveiling an exhilarating new trailer for the game, filled with breathtaking visuals and intense action sequences that left viewers buzzing with anticipation.
This trailer gave us just a taste of what we will be seeing in the coming weeks with new monsters, amazing gameplay, and a sneak peek at the story.
Next, Tsujimoto showed details of the second open beta test which starts this week! The new open beta starts on at 7:00pm PST to Sunday, February 9 at 6:59pm PST and Thursday, February 13 at 7:00pm PST to Sunday, February 16 at 6:59pm PST.
In this beta, players can challenge the new monster Arkveld, a new large monster that for sure will challenge our skills. You can also host private game with friends, use character creation, complete story trails, Doshaguma Hunts, and more.
Players will also be able to play with players across cross-platform play, transfer the data from the past beta, but story data progression will not transfer at launch. Players that play the beta can claim a special pendant to decorate their weapons.
Lastly, details were revealed on customization of your hunter, camps, hunter profile, photo mode, and more! Monster Hunter Wilds launches on Xbox, PC, and PS5 February 28th!
