Bandai Namco released the latest update to the popular and ongoing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 with the Chapter 3 DLC. The new content, which launched today, delves into the Future Saga.Â
“Broly (DB Super) is joining the fight, and Golden Frieza (Ultra Supervillain), who tapped into forbidden power, is playable too,” Bandai Namco shared in the description of the official trailer. “When two brilliant minds collide, the most dangerous plan strikes Conton City…”
The new DLC also introduces a new game mode: Friendship Mode. The new feature gives players a chance to “interact with Cheelai and Broly for exclusive rewards and cutscenes.”
“Future Saga Chapter 1 began with Fu’s grand scheme to alter the future, followed by Chapter 2, where his experiments escalated, threatening to collapse future history. Chapter 3 marks a turning point in the Future Saga, showcasing Fu’s alliance with Golden Frieza and plunging Conton City into chaos with his new supervillain powers,” Bandai Namco said in a news release.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was first release in October 2016 and developers have continually added to the game over the last 9 years, so anyone who has yet to delve into the game has plenty to catch up on!
