Clive Barker’s legendary horror series is making the jump to the video game universe thanks to the efforts of Saber Interactive and publisher Boss Team Games! Hellraiser: Revival was announced last July, and the drip feed of information has led us to this newest, juiciest morsel: A six-minute dev diary, featuring interviews with not only the developers but also the voice of Pinhead himself, Doug Bradley. It’s an easy and enlightening watch, come check it out for yourself below:
If you’ve got a few minutes to spare, this is a great showcase of not only the developers’ insights and processes into the creation of Revival as well as the game’s shocking visuals. As far as successors go, this one already seems like it has perfectly rendered the moody, gruesome aesthetic of the films. Plus, getting some insight into what it was like to get into the head of Pinhead himself is a must for any horror fan!
Details are still scarce on exactly when we’ll be able to get our hands on Hellraiser: Revival for now, as no release date has been officially announced.
