Nintendo gave us another look at upcoming Star Fox gameplay while we all wait impatiently for the remake to release later this month.
We got a roll call of of our nostalgic and favorite members of the Star Fox Mercenary Squad along with a look at the complete and total visual overhaul in Star Fox.
We also got a look at the campaign locations in the Lylat System, including Corneria, Solar, and Zoness and confirmation there will be new and never-before-seen cutscenes. The campaign can be played solo or co-op with a player via local co-op or through GameShare. Players can use Mouse-Controlled Targeting with Joy-Con 2 controllers.
There will also be a Challenge Mode with new challenges and objectives for campaign replayability, along with the 4v4 online aerial combat Battle Mode. There will be Battle Mode-exclusive items available to collect.
Nintendo also shared that, with a compatible USB camera, players can appear in GameChat as Fox McCloud or his crew using an interactive avatar that mirrors facial expressions and movements. 10 Star Fox music tracks were also added to Nintendo Music.
Star Fox soars onto the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 25.
