Konami has given us a glimpse of the opening sequence of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta.
The opening cinematic of MGS3 might be one of the most iconic moments in gaming. The sequence tied together with the beautiful song “Snake Eater,” which is performed by Cynthia Harrell and has been re-recorded, compliments each other like a really good James Bond flick.
The sequence of course shows off many moments from the game itself, but all of it entirely out of context. So if you haven’t played the game before, you might be wondering what the heck it all means, but if you’re like me you’ll get insanely excited seeing the many teasers spread all throughout the sequence. Included in the opening sequence is the first real glimpse of a majority of the bosses found throughout the game, including one of the title’s most beautiful sequences in the flower field. I couldn’t help but be impressed with how good all these key moments look!
Earlier this year Konami showed off the title screen, which can be altered to look identical to the original release, along with the new menu system in place for in-game items. There has also been some slight gameplay released of the early level. Konami also confirmed that the mini game Snake vs Monkey will return, along with some easter egg style mini games.
