It’s been a while since I’ve been this excited for a new game, check out the trailer.
I don’t know what I was expecting from the new Silent Hill Transmission stream, but I had hopes lower after the most recent demo style game released. But, I was wrong. I got blown away with this new Silent Hill F trailer. Check it out:
The last time we saw the game was during a tease when Konami announced the return of Silent Hill back in 2022. The game, being developed by a Resident Evil support studio Neobards Entertainment, finally makes a return with this godly trailer.
The trailer shows off the incredible 1960s environment, with events unfolding in the rural town of Ebisugaoka – based on Kanayama, Gero. The trailer focuses on Shimizu Hinako, the main character that seems to be going through some emotions. Everything about this trailer is true perfection in every way.
Konami even stated there are plenty of easter eggs for longtime fans, and tons of glimpses of enemies and story aspects hidden all throughout the trailer. I’ve watched it a dozen times and keep finding things myself!
Konami has noted that the series is returning to psychological horror, with a theme of “being too beautiful becomes unsettling,” something they mentioned several times with the transmission streams. Silent Hill F seems to be the next game, coming after Silent Hill 2 Remake, that were among the many different projects announced in 2022. There currently is no release date, but being able to wishlist it on digital platforms is a good sign that we will know really soon!
