Star Wars Galactic Racers finally has a release date and a new trailer, check it out.
If you’re excited to be pod racing again, we have good news! Galactic Racers, the new Star Wars racing game from Fuse Games (Ex Burnout and Need For Speed devs), will release on October 6th.
Perhaps the reveal was set for Star Wars Day, May 4th, but early leaks already hit the internet last week. This new announcement essentially just confirms the date, and we can’t wait.
For those wondering, the game takes place shortly after the fall of the Empire. An unsanctioned racing circuit is taking place along the Outer Rim, and here the main character, Shade, is looking to make a name for themself. There will be three different racing typed, including pod racing!
If you pre-order today you will get a special delivery of vehicles on release day, and a player background for online play where you can race up to 11 people. A deluxe edition is also available which includes 3 additional bonus vehicles, and several arcade races designed around them. A deluxe upgrade will be available for standard editions.
