Ever imagine the pain and terror your controller goes through when you accidentally bump it off your lap? Imagine no more!
As if the Steam Controller couldn’t get any cooler, players that were lucky enough to get their hands on one apparently already dropped their $99 controller. Guys, its been less than a week!
But doing so has led users to discover a hidden easter egg where the controller lets out an audible scream if dropped from a certain height. Check it out:
The controller apparently lets out the iconic Wilhelm Scream. The scream is an iconic moment in film dating back to westerns in 1951, but Star Wars fans will enjoy it a little bit more than your average film buff.
What has me curious is if this is customizable like the rest of the controller, or if Valve intends to add other sounds in the future. For whatever reason I want my controller to scream like R2-D2 everytime it flings into the air during my Elden Ring sessions.
