While Insomniac’s Wolverine isn’t getting a collectors that doesn’t mean you can’t find something cool to go alongside the upcoming game.
For whatever reason, Sony decided not to go grand scale with the upcoming Wolverine game. It could be the fact that recent collectors editions of games including Spider-Man 2, Horizon, and a few others are still sitting in the Sony warehouse. It could be that the cost to make them is too high. Who knows, but hopefully we at least get a controller announcement at some point.
But being real, a lot of collectors editions as of late are not really worth the high value price tag that gets slapped on them. We normally get a vinyl based statue that isn’t too incredibly detailed, and a box full of random un-necessary things like patches, stickers, and notes. In other instances we get some terribly detailed figure like the one found in the Metal Gear Solid 3 Delta box. Plus some of the fun stuff like art books and soundtracks have been transitioned to digital codes. And the worst part, mainly with Sony games as of late, is that while you got a steelbook in the box, they have no discs. Instead a digital code and an empty case, for whatever reason….
So how do we fix both of these issues? Easy, find some cool real statues and collectable figures that you can spend your money on instead. Check out these cool figures to make your own “collectors edition.”
Cheap budget friendly, Wolverine Best Kingdom Figure
If you thought the face of Snake in the MGS3 Delta collectors edition was acceptable, well this is for you! For everyone else, this figure might make you realize why you’ll be paying a bit more for every other figure on this list. Still, if you just want to buy a figure to make believe you got a collectors item with your game, this won’t break the bank.

If you don’t essentially mind the low detail figures in collectors editions, then Todd McFarlane’s line is plenty good enough, sometimes better.
In fact they have a Wolverine figure inspired by the game releasing the same month as the game itself.
It can’t be any more clear cut that this. A figure inspired by the game, made for fans of the game, using the model from the game. The 1:10 scale makes it perfect to fit as a collectors item to display with the game itself.

If you want a real display piece, another budget friendly option from McFarlane is this 2025 figure of Wolverine with a displayable scene behind him.
Jumping up in price substantially seems fair considering collectors editions are typically 250-300 dollars with figures, so here we go.
It’s been rather hard for me to not find statues that don’t feature Deadpool in some way due to recent trends, but this one is pretty cool. The 8 inch figure from Iron Studios looks incredible, and they actually make another figure later in the list at a higher value too.
Wolverine (Deluxe Edition)

If you don’t mind it, a lot of figures were released recently for the Wolverine and Deadpool movie, so this one has Hugh Jackman’s face. It however lets you put on his mask and looks similar to the version in the game.
We go up even further and a more comic book inspired version of Wolverine with exaggerated muscles and claws. The figure is incredible, and also has a bust version with Wolverine showing off his claws. This is the second figure by Iron Studios. This figure comes in at a hefty $800.
800 dollars wasn’t enough for you? Talk about a baller over here…. Well how about this fine art product again from Sideshow Collectables. This is seriously the coolest option on the whole list, but it’s going to take a car downpayment to get it. The 20 inch statue features portrait quality of Wolverine complete with realistic texturing on the costume and expertly crafted acrylic teeth. It comes in at $1500.
Whatever your budget is, there is something for everyone to at least get something worth marking the celebration. While it isn’t as cool as opening a cool collectors edition on launch day, it’s still something cool to add to your display cases.
