Arkasha Stevenson is Developing a Prequel to ‘The Omen’

It turns out that there’s a prequel to The Omen in the works, over fifteen years after the last Omen film hit theaters.

It’s been announced that Legion director Arkasha Stevenson is working on her feature-film debut by working on a prequel to The Omen. According to the news, this film would be titled The First Omen, though it’s unclear what this film would be about. As a reminder, the original Omen film features the birth of Damien, an unsettling child with demonic abilities.

No plot details have been announced for The First Omen, and again, it’s confusing that this is a prequel to the original Omen film, as this would clearly have to take place before Damien enters the story.

There’s currently no release date for The First Omen.
