During Destination D23, Disney revealed the Legacy Animated Film Collection which brings together 100 animated films on blu-ray in one huge set.
This weekend brought Destination D23 (a smaller scale D23 event they host on the off years), and some news animation fans are sure to enjoy. As part of their 100th anniversary celebrations, Disney is launching the Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection on November 14th.
The massive box set will include 100 films from across Disney Studios and Pixar, all bundled into some swanky packaging that opens like its own storybook. It’s just cool and certainly something fans and lovers of physical media would be happy to snag (perhaps as a Christmas gift?):
The set includes 100 animated titles on Blu-ray, digital codes for each title, features the original theatrical poster art, a collectible lithograph from Disney Animation’s all-new musical comedy Wish, and a collectible crystal Mickey ears hat with exclusive Disney 100 engraving.
This special collection features a stunning array of Disney Animation and Pixar classics including Bambi, Sleeping Beauty, The Lion King, Toy Story, Frozen and Encanto. Select Pixar titles also includes a bonus disc of extras.
