2012 Comes to 4K Ultra HD This January

Roland Emmerich’s big disaster flick, 2012, is getting the 4K treatment for the first time, bringing those eye-popping visuals to the UHD format.

While it’s laden with plenty of problems, I love 2012. I’m a sucker for disaster movies in general, and this one brought all manner of insane action and just the right amount of cheese. As such, I’m very eager to see this 4K transer which arrives on January 19, 2021.

From Roland Emmerich, director of The Day After Tomorrow and Independence Day, comes the ultimate action-adventure movie, exploding with groundbreaking special effects. As the world faces a catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions, cities collapse and continents crumble. 2012 brings and end to the world and tells of the heroic struggle of the survivors. Starring John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Amanda Peet, Danny Glover and Woody Harrelson.
