‘Scooby-Doo! Return to Zombie Island’ Arrives on DVD October 1st

Scooby-Doo’s latest adventure, Scooby-Doo! Return to Zombie Island, will arrive on DVD at the beginning of October.

While I found Scooby-Doo! Return to Zombie Island to be a massive disappointment, Scooby-Doo completionists will likely be interested in checking out this latest entry in the long-running TV movie series (the 33rd entry overall). The film has been available on Digital since early September, and will soon be available on DVD everywhere.

Scooby-Doo! Return to Zombie Island features the familiar voice talents of Frank Welker as Fred Jones and Scooby-Doo, Grey Griffin as Daphne Blake, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers, and Kate Micucci as Velma Dinkley.

Scooby-Doo and his pals win an all-expense paid vacation and embark on a trip of a lifetime to a tropical paradise. Their destination however, turns out to be Zombie Island. As soon as they arrive, they realize the place looks strangely familiar and is reminiscent of a trip they took years ago, in which they became wrapped up in a mystery involving zombies. The gang soon learns that their trip to paradise comes with a price when the zombies re-emerge and attack their hotel. Will Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang finally solve the mystery behind Zombie Island?

Special Features:

  • The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries episode Ghosts of the Ancient Astronauts, Part 1
  • What’s New, Scooby-Doo? episode Mummy Scares Best

Scooby-Doo! Return to Zombie Island is currently available on Digital for $14.99 and will retail for $19.98 on DVD starting October 1, 2019.
