So I Married an Axe Murderer Getting the 4K Treatment This Summer

The classic comedy/thriller, So I Married an Axe Murderer, is getting an upgrade to 4K Ultra HD this Summer, complete with never-before-seen deleted scenes!

I love this movie. It’s such a delightful, and unexpected gem of a rom-com (esque). Moreso, I’d happily contend this is among Mike Myers’ best films and personal work. That’s neither here nor there, however. The good news is that it’s finally coming to 4K thanks to a brand new transfer (pulled directly from the original film negatives) this July.

When it comes to love, poet Charlie MacKenzie (Mike Myers) has had his share of bad luck. But when he meets Harriet (Nancy Travis), he thinks he’s found “the one” – until a series of coincidences lead him to believe that Harriet might be the serial honeymoon killer “Mrs. X.” Charlie and his cop best friend (Anthony LaPaglia) must find out the truth before it’s too late in this madcap comic thriller.
