Disney/Lucasfilm have announced the home release details for The Mandalorian and Grogu, including a swanky 4K UHD steelbook and collector’s set.
If you missed out on The Mandalorian and Grogu in theaters, or simply want to watch it again from the comfort of home, you’ll get the chance very soon. Today, Disney/Lucasfilm announced the movie is hitting digital retailers, for purchase or VOD, next week (July 21st).
But of course, we all know fans need those physical discs (and it’s just the better option for owning). We won’t have to wait terribly long for that either, as the 4K Ultra HD/blu-ray is set to arrive on August 25th. Collector’s will have a couple options with both a steelbook release and “Beskar Edition” to snag.
The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu. “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu” also stars Sigourney Weaver, with Martin Scorsese and Jeremy Allen White lending their voices. The film is directed by Jon Favreau and written by Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni & Noah Kloor.
