The newest Alien movie being produced by Ridley Scott is finally starting to take shape.
While the plot of the newest Alien movie is being kept tightly under wraps, we may soon know at least one of the actors appearing in the film. It’s being reported that actress Cailee Spaeny (Mare of Easttown) is in talks to star in the film. This would track with previous installments of the Alien franchise centering on a female lead.
The film, currently untitled, is being produced by Ridley Scott, while Fede Alvarez will direct the project as well as writing the script. Assuming the film happens as planned, this will be the seventh Alien movie and the first since Alien: Covenant which came out in 2017 to less than stellar reviews.
