Crunchyroll to Screen ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond’ in 2023

Crunchyroll will be bringing the upcoming That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime movie to a global audience in 2023.

Earlier today, Crunchyroll announced that they are bringing the upcoming anime film, That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond, to all major global territories (excluding Asia) in early 2023.

To celebrate this announcement, Crunchyroll streamed an English-subtitled trailer for the movie, teasing what’s to come:

The movie is loosely summarized as follows:

The story centers on a new country named Razha, located to the west of Tempest. Rimuru and his companions get involved in a long-running conspiracy that swirls around a girl with a mysterious power. Rimuru and his commander Benimaru also encounter another ogre survivor named Hiiro, who used to hold Benimaru in high regard.

An exact release date for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Scarlet Bond hasn’t been revealed, though it is releasing in Japan this November.
