What better day than Friday the 13th to unveil the rest of the regular cast for the prequel series exploring the events before the Friday the 13th movie series? Peacock and A24 released an announcement today filling us in on who the rest of the actors would be in this upcoming Peacock original, Crystal Lake.
Cameron Scoggins (Shades of Blue, Nashville) is set to play the character ‘Dorf’, Devin Kessler (Godfather of Harlem) will be playing ‘Briana Brooks’ and, last but not least, Gwendolyn Sundstrom (I’m Beginning to See the Light) as ‘Grace.’
The Crystal Lake series has had numerous ups and downs in the few years it has been in some semblance of production, but the announcement of a full cast joining William Catlett (Constellation) and the iconic Linda Cardellini (Dead to Me) seems to have fully righted this show back onto the rails and ready to hit your streaming sets someday soon!
Crystal Lake has yet to announce a hard release date, but is expected to release as a Peacock Exclusive. Brad Caleb Kane is replacing Bryan Fuller as Creator/Writer/Showrunner/Executive Producer. Michael Lennox, Celine Held and Logan George, and Quyen Tran have been tapped to direct multiple episodes each.
