Disney has released the first official image from the live-action Snow White movie, along with pushing it back an entire year.

I have had a bad feeling about the live-action remake of Snow White since it was announced, but I was willing to give the studio the benefit of the doubt because I have been surprised before. Then Disney released the first official image from the film today and, oh boy…..
First, the definitely bad news: Disney has delayed the release of the live-action Snow White film to March 21, 2025. This has everything to do with the ongoing actor’s strike and it remains to be seen if this will be the final delay or not.
Now, the other news. I’ve been staring at this first official still from Snow White for hours and the more I look at it, the worse it gets.

Oh Disney….what are you thinking? If this were merely concept art, I might be able to forgive it, but this is an official still! This is how the dwarves actually look! And they look bad, really bad! What in the CGI-nightmare is this mess?
I know one shouldn’t judge a film by one single image, but this first look does NOT fill me with confidence. I’d like to think he year-long delay will encourage Disney to fix any issues, but I highly doubt we’d get that kind of luck.
