The first official trailer for Meg 2: The Trench has been released and it promises lots of giant shark madness.
After The Meg surprised many by being a lot more fun than people thought it would be, it didn’t take long for a sequel to be green-lit and now we’ve finally got our first look at what that sequel will look like. Meg 2: The Trench will hit theaters on August 4, 2023.
As the trailer lays out, Meg 2: The Trench takes place some time after the events of the original film, where it turns out not all is well in the massive trench where the megaladon was first encountered. It seems the rest of them want out, and it’s going to result in glorious chaos.
