First Trailer for Flamin’ Hot Gets Spicy, Hilarious

This morning brings the first trailer for Flamin’ Hot, the upcoming biopic showing the story behind the iconic flavored snack. It’s pretty great.

To be honest, I can’t say Flamin’ Hot was a film high on my radar. I mean, a film about how the Cheeto snack became a thing doesn’t exactly call to me. To be fair, however, this is pretty much how I felt about the Tetris movie, and that ended up blowing me away.

As such, I went into this first trailer for Flamin’ Hot open-minded and came away super excited:

It’s just a damn good trailer. It brings the humor, the heart, and shows off an angle that is poised to make this story resonated. Consider me all in for this.

FLAMIN’ HOT is the inspiring true story of Richard Montañez (Jesse Garcia), the Frito Lay janitor who channeled his Mexican American heritage and upbringing to turn the iconic Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into a snack that disrupted the food industry and became a global pop culture phenomenon.

Flamin’ Hot is set to debut on both Hulu and Disney+ June 9, 2023.
