Apple TV+ announced on Friday that For All Mankind is getting a fourth season.

The show’s stars Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey Johnson, Coral Peña, Wrenn Schmidt and Edi Gathegi, along with executive producers Moore, Nedivi, Wolpert, and Maril Davis spoke in a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday.

“I’m thrilled Apple is giving us this opportunity to continue telling our story. Ron, Matt and I have always had a long-term plan for the show and the deeper we get into our alt history, the more the audience will start to see that vision come to life,” Deadline reports showrunner Nedivi said.

For All Mankind‘s third season premiered last month, to which Nedivi said “has been incredible.”

The series presents an aspirational world where NASA astronauts, engineers and their families find themselves in the center of extraordinary events seen through the prism of an alternate history timeline — a world in which the USSR beats the US to the moon, a press release says.

Season one takes place in 1969, season two in 1983 and the 1990’s for the recently released third. Season four will jump into the 21st Century.
