Indiana Jones 5 has Finished Filming

The long gestating fifth, big screen, adventure of Indiana Jones takes a big step forward this morning as filming has wrapped!

It’s crazy to think how long we’ve been waiting on Indiana Jones 5 (it originally had a 2019 release date when announced), but now it’s feeling closer than ever. Producer Frank Marshal took to social media this morning to announce filming on James Mangold’s Indiana Jones has been completed:

Obviously there’s plenty of post-production work to be done and still quite a bit of a wait for it’s release date next year…but it’s done. They actually have footage in the can for a movie I never thought would actually happen.

Sadly, we still don’t have a title for the movie, or any (official) idea what the latest movie will be about. Hopefully, with filming wrapped we’ll learn more sooner rather than later. Hell, who knows, maybe the title IS just “Indiana Jones.” I doubt it, but I wouldn’t be entirely surprised either.

Indiana Jones 5 is currently set to hit theaters on June 30, 2023.
