James Caan, ‘The Godfather’ and ‘Misery’, dies at 82

Longtime Hollywood macho man James Caan has died. He was 82.

A Tweet was posted around Noon to Caan’s Twitter. Caan’s rep told Hollywood Reporter the actor died Wednesday night. No other details were provided.

Caan was most well known for his role as Sonny in The Godfather, which earned him an Oscar nomination for best supporting actor. He was also known for his roles in Misery, Thief and Rollerball.

According to IMDB, he stars in Fast Charlie that is currently in post-production and set to release in 2023. He was also announced for roles in Redemption and Acre Beyond the Rye.
