Lindsey Beer is Working on a Reboot of ‘Sleepy Hollow’ for Paramount

A reboot of the Sleepy Hollow story is in the works at Paramount and Lindsey Beer is in charge of it.

A report from Deadline has revealed that Paramount is working on a reboot of the story of Sleepy Hollow, with Lindsey Beer to serve as writer and director for the project. The classic story of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman has been adapted many times over the years, for both film and television, with varying degrees of success.

The specific plot details of Lindsey Beer’s take on Sleepy Hollow are unknown at this time, nor is it known what release window this project will be aiming for. For that matter, it’s not clear if this will be a theatrical release or something exclusive to Paramount+.

Lindsey Beer is currently working on a number of projects, including a Pet Sematary prequel, a remake of Disney’s Bambi, and a Hello Kitty movie, just to name a few. It will be interesting to see what she brings to the story of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman.
