John Wick: Chapter 4 Vinyl Soundtrack – If you loved the latest entry in the John Wick series, you will love this vinyl soundtrack of the film’s score, to be released this November. The soundtrack is contained on two translucent orange records in a set that look like they came right out of the world of the legendary assassin.

The Ring 4K Box Set – Scream Factory has announced a box set containing the American remakes of the Ring series, namely The Ring, The Ring Two and Rings. The set comes out in December, just in time for Christmas and is a must have for scary movie fans.

Foundation: The Art and Making of Seasons 1 & 2 – This official companion to Apple TV’s Foundation series is full of behind the scenes info and official art for the series. This is a must have for fans of the show that want to learn more about how this show is put together.

The Adventures of Batman: The Complete Series – Launched earlier this year, this impressive collection brings together all of the original Filmation Batman animated series from the 60s. This feels like a must-have for any Batman fan (or anyone who just loves animation), and the transfer on these is pretty damn solid. It’s never a bad idea to have a physical copy of these classics, to ensure they don’t disappear forever. Plus, they’re still a whole lot of fun to watch.

MoGo 2 Pro – XGIMI’s line-up of projectors continues to go strong. The MoGo Pro 2 launched earlier this year and is still an impressive portable machine that allows you to enjoy the big screen experience just about anywhere. It’s got a sharp image, great built-in software, and is essentially plug-in-and-play. While it’s not as impressive as their 4K model, it’s easily the best for its price point.

Eat What You Watch – More than just offering people movie-themed meals (like the various Star Wars cookbooks), this one actually shows you how to make the meals that appear in some of your favorite movies. This is a fun little cookbook for movie lovers, and something just off the beaten path enough that it would work as an unexpected (but welcome) gift.

Mad Dreams and Monsters: The Art of Phil Tippett and Tippett Studio – Phil Tippett’s iconic work in film VFX continues to influence the industry today, and the man continues to shape the way we look at creating movie magic. This gigantic tome (over 500 pages) celebrates the man’s life, and offers insight into his creative process over the decades along with hundreds of sketches, behind the scenes pictures, and more. If you’re shopping for someone who enjoys the movie-making process, this is a stellar choice.

Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection – While this comes on the pricier end of gift-giving (at $1500), there’s no denying the sheer awesomeness of this Disney Animated box set. It’s just…insanely cool. Bringing together 100 animated films to Blu-Ray (some for the first time, or the first time in years), along with other goodies for collector’s, it’s the be-all, end-all of box sets for fans.

MCU: The Reign of Marvel Studios – Just launched in October, this new book by Joanna Robinson, Dave Gonzales, and Gavin Edwards provides an impressive account about how the Marvel Cinematic Universe came to dominate Hollywood. An “oral history” of sorts, it combines behind the scenes insight into some of the turmoil the franchise has endured over the years. If you’ve got a Marvel fan to shop for this year, definitely keep this in mind.

Clue 1985 4K With the renewed fascination in classic who-done-its flooding into theaters over the last few years (Murder on the Orient Express, Knives Out, Invitation to a Murder) why not go back and revisit one of the classics? 1985’s Clue isn’t just a great example of how you can make a feature film based on a board game, its incredible cast and campy style has made it a cult classic. This new collector’s edition is available with 4K UHD restoration, new artwork, and the blu ray features 2 disks loaded with special features.

Criterion Collection: Mean Streets [4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray] Martin Scorsese’s latest film seems like a hit, so it is fitting that we are finally getting a criterion edition of one of his earliest feature films. Mean Streets may not be as widely well-known as some of Scorcese’s later films, but it stands up as one of the very best in his filmography. Complete with an impressive early performance by Robert DeNiro, it is a fascinating film that would serve as a precursor to where the veteran director would go over the rest of his career. This release features a 4K restoration, which solves the biggest gripe about the smudgy quality of the original film. Extra features include both a film and written essay, conversation with Scorsese himself, promotional material, and audio commentary.

Minimalist Movie Art CoastersI love the creative twist on these iconic movie posters, which you can display tastefully in your home on your table. Best of all, they have more than 100 films to choose from, and you get to customize your order by selecting the films you want on your coasters. The coasters themselves are ceramic with a no-slip cork bottom

Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Complete Box Set – The Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Complete Box Set is an absolute treasure trove for any ardent fan of the franchise. It encompasses all nine movies of the epic space opera, taking the viewers on a thrilling journey across the galaxy far, far away. The set is a fantastic addition to any Box Set Collection, as it not only offers the entire Skywalker saga but also includes bonus features, deleted scenes, and behind-the-scenes insights that allow fans to delve deeper into the making of the movies.

From the iconic battles to the unforgettable characters, this box set is a comprehensive and immersive experience that no Star Wars fan should miss. I can only hope to add this to my collection this holiday season!

Titanic 4K Collector’s Set  – Look, I’m getting this one way or another (eventually) but if I’m gifted it? HELL YEAH. Every time I find Titanic playing anywhere I find myself sitting down and watching it. I’m fascinated by the movie, and the collectables they added to this package are just brilliant for people like me. A ticket to the ship, blueprints, behind the scenes? I love all of it.

The Original Beef T-Shirt – Jeremy Allen White is by far one of my favorite actors ever, and he’s absolutely perfect in the show The Bear which takes place at a restaurant. That’s where this shirt comes in, The Original Beef shirts are worn by several people, and there is even a nod to “The Original Beef” version on Amazon too! But hey, I’d also be okay with a Jeremy Allen White candle too…..

4K UHD Quick Picks
American Graffiti 50th Anniversary
Missions: Impossible – Dead Reckoning
Loki Complete First Season
Love Actually 20th Anniversary
The Last Dragon

Annabelle 7 Inch Doll – Look, at some point I’ll stop being invited to these gatherings because I simply love horror gifts, but who doesn’t? This is so friggin’ cool though! A 7 inch doll of Annabelle on a rocking chair with great details from the Conjuring films! Check it out, get it for the horror fan in your family (like me), or to scare your family, either option is a win for me!

Stranger Things: Music From The Upside Down – I love Stranger Things. I love Synth wave music. Put the two together on a snazzy vinyl disc set, and bam!—You got the perfect gift for me! Not everyone has a record player, but some nerds like me still collect vinyl regardless. I’ve got Death Stranding on vinyl! This one is really cool though with awesome Stranger Things artwork, colored records, and some sweet music to go with it.

Hopefully our Movie Lover’s Gift Guide has helped you with some ideas for shopping this holiday season. We’ll continue to add onto this (and notate any updates) as we inch closer to Christmas!
