Dark Horse Announces Star Wars: Tales of the Nightlands
The latest Star Wars horror anthology was revealed this week. Cavan Scott (who’s handled the previous ones) is back with Tales of the Nightlands, which will give us three stories set through each trilogy generation. The first issue, of three, arrives on September 3rd.
In Star Wars: Tales from the Nightlands: On the planet Ryloth, Twi’leks speak in hushed tones about the Nightlands, the spectral realm where their spirits retire after death. According to legend, there are certain nights when the veil between that haunted place and the land of the living is so thin that one can communicate with the other side.
Enter: The Nightlander, a Star Wars boogeyman who seeks to possess a powerful, living host and bring despair to the galaxy!
Each issue features one of three generations of galactic heroes facing off against the malevolent Nightlander. Issue #1 sees young Padawan Anakin Skywalker visiting Ryloth with Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, attempting to summon the ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn for a final goodbye. But when Anakin makes contact with the Nightlands, it isn’t his old friend who answers! Issue #2 features Luke & Leia facing this horror, and Issue #3 pits Rey & Finn against a dark power unlike any in the galaxy.
New Hasbro Reveals
In a special fan livesteam held this past Friday, Hasbro revealed a handful of new Star Wars toys across their Vintage Collection, Black Series, and roleplay lines.
For the Black Series, there are two new Revenge of the Sith anniversary figures (using the old packaging) in Aayla Secura and the Magnaguard. There’s also a new Shoretrooper & Death Trooper two-pack, a new Sandtrooper, and Clone Lieutenant Galle. For TVC there’s a new Stormtrooper three-pack, Ben (Obi-Wan) Kenobi, Stormtrooper, and the Cantina Adventure four-pack. Lastly, Ezra Bridger’s new Lightsaber from Ahsoka is joining the Force FX Elite series.
All of these are set to arrive this Summer (Galle and Sandtrooper will be in the Fall), with pre-orders live now on Hasbro Pulse and other participating retailers.

Brawlhalla Adds More Star Wars Goodness
General Grievous joins nine other Star Wars characters in the Brawlhalla roster from previous Crossover Events: Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Darth Maul, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Kay Vess and Nix, and the Mandalorian with Grogu. The cyborg droid general will prove fierce on the battlefield – here’s what you need to know:
General Grievous Mythic Crossover for Mako
Uses lightsabers, both dual-wielding (Katars) and as a single saber (Greatsword)
Signature Attacks allow him to wield up to four lightsabers at once, crawl like a spider, or grab opponents with metal talons on his feet
The May the 4th Event runs now through May 13, and also offers two new Weapon skins. The Asgardian Great Lightsaber is an original design with swappable colors, and features custom sounds, light attack swaps, and animations. The Death Star Hologram (Orb) is inspired by a hologram seen in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones™ and can be earned for free by completing an in-game challenge during the first week of the Event. Players can also receive the Droid General title as a reward for simply logging in during the Event.
Happy Star Wars Day!
